Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Begin in Casablanca with a visit to the majestic Hassan II Mosque before continuing to the capital, Rabat. Explore the Oudayas Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Royal Palace. Then head north through the Rif Mountains to the charming blue town of Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
Stroll through the serene blue streets of Chefchaouen in the morning. Then travel to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes, visiting the impressive Bab Mansour gate. End your day in the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco: Fes.
Day 3: Fes Guided Tour
Explore Fes with a local guide. Visit the ancient Medina (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Al Quaraouiyine University (oldest in the world), the tanneries, and the Medersa Bou Inania. Discover the rich heritage of Moroccan craftsmanship and religious history.
Day 4: Fes – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland,” and the cedar forests of Azrou. Stop in Midelt before descending into the Ziz Valley and reaching the dunes of Merzouga.
