DAY 1 : FES- IFRANE-- CEDAR FOREST MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS -- MIDELT- ZIZ VALLEY-- MERZOUGA DESERT:
■ Around 8am as agreed before. Our team will be waiting for you at your accommodation in Fes to pick you up for an unforgettable 3-day tour experience. Our first station to visit is lfrane city, the second cleanest city in the world also known as the Swiss of Morocco with orderly red-roofed houses. From here and in about half an hour's drive we will be at the Ceder forests of Azrou, where Barbary apes live.
■ The next stop is Midelt, the minerai mining and apple town lying between the two high and middle Atlas mountains. We have our lunch here, then recommence our way through Tizi N'Tlghamt "Carnel pass", Errachidia. After, and at the same route we stop for a panoramic view of Ziz Valley the land of dates, we will be driving through to Erfoud. Then to Merzouga desert.
■ Your camel man awaits you next to dunes for lifting you by his camels to
the desert camp to spend whole night under sky full of stars.The camel ride takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes including an amazing stop for an incredible sunset at the top of a high dune in the middle of the desert. Your camel guide will take several memorable pictures for you along the ride. Arriving at the well-equipped camp, you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea and some cookies by the camp workers. ln an hour, the working staff serve you a delicious dinner, then they make a fire outside the camp under a sky full of stars, where they will be playing Berber and African music, while you enjoy and dance around the fire.
■ Overnight at the Desert camp.
DAY 2: FULL DAYTO EXPLORE MERZOUGA DESERT:
■ This day is dedicated to exploring the desert and its landmarks.ln the morning around 1Dam and after breakfast at the camp. Our driver and guide pick you up by a 4WD for one of the best experiences in the desert. Your visit to the Merzouga area starts from your hotel driving by the high dunes of the desert. Firstly, a panoramic view stop for the Sahara from a high mountain close to the dunes. Then drive to nomad families living next to the Moroccan/ Algerian border to know about their culture and the way they are living in a harsh environment, sitting under their tents while having a cup of tea.
■ After that, our trip resumes to the M'ifis mascara mountain mine. Vou explore and have an idea of how workers get mines from the heart of mountains. From there, to Khamlia village, settled by the "black skinned" people, who are famous for their Gnawa music all around the world. Here you try Berber Pizza, a recommended meal in Morocco this area is famous for. Besides, listening and dancing to Gnawa music played by these friendly people.
■ Later, we keep up to the Sahara Oasis for a walk inside its almond, palm, and fig trees and different vegetables plants. From there on, we drive you back to the Camp.
■ Arriving at the well-equipped camp, you will be welcomed with Moroccan tea and some cookies by the camp workers. ln an hour, the working staff serve you a delicious dinner, then they make a fire outside the camp under a sky full of stars, where they will be playing Berber and African music, while you enjoy and dance around the fire.
■ Overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA-- ZiZ VALLEY - MIDELT - CEDAR FOREST - IFRANE - FES :
■ lt's worth waking up early on this day, for one of the best sunrises ever. After having breakfast at the camp. Vou then ride camels or take a four-wheel-drive vehicle back to the village where camels have carried you from yesterday. Meet your driver and guide again and pick you up for a new destination, Fes. We will drive through Ziz Valley, Errachidia to Midelt, the minerai mining and apple town lying between the two Atlases: high and middle.
■ After lunch in Midelt, we resume our drive through the cedar forests of Azrou, and have a stop to meet the Barbary Apes. Following this, lfrane, the Switzerland of Morocco, is known for its alpine-style architecture, forests, and a well-known landmark lion stone.
■ Subsequently, carry on our way to Fes City, where we drop you off at your hotel, and our tour finishes.
