Around 8:00 AM, as previously arranged, our team will meet you at your accommodation in Fez to begin your unforgettable 2-day journey to the Sahara. Our first stop is the charming town of Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland of Morocco.” With its alpine-style architecture and pristine streets, it holds the title of the second cleanest city in the world. A short drive later, we reach the Cedar Forest of Azrou, home to the famous Barbary macaques. Enjoy some time to stretch your legs, take photos, and interact with these playful native monkeys.
We then head towards Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, known for its apple orchards and mineral mines. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch before continuing your scenic journey. Our route takes us over the Tizi N’Tighamt pass (also known as the “Camel Pass”) and through Errachidia, before stopping at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the lush Ziz Valley, famous for its date palms and dramatic scenery.
At the edge of the dunes, your camel guide will be waiting to take you on an incredible camel trek into the heart of the desert. The ride lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes, with a magical stop atop a high dune to enjoy the sunset over Erg Chebbi—a truly unforgettable moment. Along the way, your guide will capture memorable photos of your adventure.Upon arrival at the luxury desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and sweets.
