Day 1 : Arrival / Errachidia - Ziz Valley - Erfod - Merzouga Desert
• Upon arrival at Errachidia Airport, our team will be there to greet you and begin your magical journey into the Sahara Desert.
• Our first stop is the breathtaking Ziz Valley, where you’ll take in panoramic views of lush palm groves nestled between rugged mountains. After a brief photo stop and time to stretch your legs, we’ll continue our scenic drive.
• Next, we head to Erfoud, a town famous for its rich paleontological heritage. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to visit local fossil workshops and discover how ancient fossils are transformed into unique art pieces and souvenirs.
• From Erfoud, we make our way to Merzouga, where the majestic dunes of Erg Chebbi rise from the horizon. As we reach the edge of the Sahara, prepare for an unforgettable camel trek through the golden sands just in time for sunset—watch as the warm hues of the setting sun dance across the dunes.
• Upon arrival at your luxury desert camp, you’ll be welcomed with traditional Moroccan hospitality. Enjoy a delicious Berber dinner under the stars, followed by live music around the campfire. Spend the rest of the evening stargazing in the peaceful desert ambiance before retiring to your private tent.
• Overnight stay in a Luxury Desert Camp.
Day 2 : Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Ziz Valley - Errachidia Airport
• Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the first rays of sunlight stretch across the desert, the sands glow in golden hues, creating a peaceful and awe-inspiring scene. It’s a perfect moment for quiet reflection, stunning photography, and embracing the serene beauty of the Sahara before the day begins.
• After the sunrise, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast, then begin your journey back to Errachidia.
• Along the way, we’ll stop at Rissani, a historic town known for its vibrant markets and as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty. You’ll have time to explore the local souks, soak in the town’s rich cultural atmosphere, and perhaps pick up a few authentic souvenirs.
• We then continue our drive to Errachidia, where upon arrival, our team will drop you off at Errachidia Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure through the Sahara.
